These two challenges worked great together. For her DTGD Challenge, Beverly challenged us to use trash rescue on our project. Rather than put this used teabag in the trash, I dried it out, emptied it, and stamped a sentiment on it for the Just Reminiscing...teapot tickle challenge. I am remembering my mom. She collected teacups and when she passed, I received them. I also collected teacups and teapots. We both loved our teacups and had tea parties with others and with the grandchildren, too. When we downsized several years ago, I filled each cup with valentine candy and wrapped prettily with bows and cellophane and gave away 20 some teacups to my Bible study group participants. Each had a handmade card in it that it was from my mother and me.
Thanks for looking.

Very lovely teacups and pot, and the stamped teabag gives it added interest. What a lovely memory of your mother, and gifting her teacups with handmade cards to your Bible study participants was such a beautiful way to honor her and pass along some beautiful mementos. Thanks for sharing!!
