Today's FS is Cheryl Hamilton aka alohastamper; I saw this super card in her gallery and thought it would be perfect also for Vickie's DTGD challenge: Love Banner by alohastamper at Splitcoaststampers
My changes:
*horizontal banners
*different papers
*sentiment on one of the banners

This is such a bright and happy feeling card! I love the look of that sand layer; I'm thinking from your description that it must be dsp but it truly looks like some fantastic technique full of texture!

Great dsp, Faith. It does the hard work on this and the banners just pep it up and add more fun. Great card - love it! Hugz

Faith, this is a fun case of Cheryl's card and also perfect for Vickie's beach challenge. The background paper certainly looks like sand and is perfect to highlight the beachy sentiment and bright papers.

Love how you turned her sweet banner card into this beachy delight. The braided twine is a great nod to ropes you'd see around the docks. Love the happy colors/patterns on your flag. I think they must be maritime flags signaling "Don't Worry; Beach Happy". Adorable and fun. Great card.
