This technique is a take-off on embossed resist with the focus on color selection to create the faux copper patina. I liked using the toothbrush to apply the versamark, it gave a nice streaky texture. I added the gold EP for a little more depth. After attaching the sentiment strip I tucked in a little fussy cut butterfly and then noticed the snippet of gold ribbon in my scrap pile. When I tied it with green ribbon it sort of looked like a butterfly, so I popped it on--just for fun, just because.

That is just beautiful. So clever with the snippet of ribbon. You had a lot better luck with the toothbrush than I did when I tried this out for a MIX challenge pre-vacation. My first try just looked like a ploughed field!
