This card is for Shawn, who has a black belt in Karate and was into photography. In "person" you can see the white frame under the photo corners - but in this pic it blends in. I should have outlined the edging to make the photo frame stand out better. My mom used to write at an angle across polaroid prints, and i copied her style. I used Spellbinders 1st Crush die for the little guy. After finishing the card, I again thought "I should have used my Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge and then I could have made him smaller, and it would have fit better in a little frame." That is the pro on the original Cricut machines over the individual metal dies. But, my new goal is to not aim for perfection as I had in the past, but just to make happy mail - cards that are fun for both the recipient and myself. I hope Shawn likes the card.

What a super fun card. Personally, I like his size -- it's the way a lot of our photos look -- so good for you going with it as it And, I love the use of the polaroid frame. Clever way to add in his love of photography. I remember when all our phots were polaroids and we would write on the white frame. Classic!

This is my style of photography - to get the subject as large as possible! After all it's more the person I want to remember rather than everything in the background. I do remember the days of polaroid photography and mounting pics with these photo corners in scrapbooks. Super looking card.
