Doilies aren't something I use much, but I did manage to include both an embossing folder and a doily die on this card. Sizzix Doily ef, sponged with faded jeans and mustard seed. Sizzix Zinnia in blue (yes, they exist, though I had trouble replicating the blue I saw in photos) added to a
Gina Marie doily cut from yellow and stamped with script. I edged the card with Stickles and added a band of lace diagonally across it. The sentiment is from Art Journey.

my eye was instantly drawn to the texture of that inked background ( so gorgeous) that I didn't even see the dainty doily until I read the words. (first cuppa joe here)

I really like the heavy lace you added to the bg! Love the blue zinnia as well.

I like the size of that doily die-cut. It's perfect for a card without overpowering it. I've been thinking of planting zinnias this year (I seem to remember they were easy to grow); I wonder if I can find some seeds for blue ones?

Love your fabulous blue floral paired with the yellow doily. Looks fabulous against that pretty EF sponged with the paler shades. The glitter edges provide great pazazz!

Sabrina that doily lace is amazing. I have some doily lace and now I need to look in my stash to see how to use some on a few cards. The blue and white on this card are just incredible and really drawing me in to the card.
