CC894 - Amazing in every way
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: bejoyce

I am your hostess in the Color Challenge this week. I certainly challenged myself! These colors look so good as swatches together, but I found it difficult to put them into a card! My apologies if you did, too! The colors are Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy and Magenta Madness. The dessert option is to use a punched or die-cut shape.

I started by using the big pattern on the DS paper as individual tiles, matted in Night of Navy. I die cut the leaves and flowers, sponged the big flower with some Magenta Madness ink, and shaped the flowers. I covered a piece of Night of Navy cardstock with clear packing tape, then die cut "Amazing." I love this easy technique that gives the word a glossy appearance.

This card will go to my relative who is bravely fighting her way through some tough medical treatments.

Thanks for looking. Please give this combo a try and show us what you can do!

Barbara, your colors were a lot of fun to work with - bold and bright and gorgeous. Speaking of gorgeous, your card is definitely gorgeous. Your brave relative is going to love it!

Well, your colors work wonderfully on this bold card. I adore those navy tiles as your bg and then the big bold and bright blooms to frame and highlight your sentiment. I am so sorry your relative is fighting medical issues. I imagine this card will make them feel loved, supported and encouraged in their battle. Awesome card.
