We have a fun TLC today using stencils and heat embossing. I had so much fun that after I did the green background, I made another background to cut a circle to go behind my toucans. A friend of mine whose granddaughter recently had twins, asked me if I could make her a First Motherâs Day card. So I searched my stamp catalog for stamps that I tagged with âtwinsâ and found these toucans. The toucans inspired me to use my favorite stencil. I know, I use it all the time, but these big leaves are so appealing to me. After I applied the Versa Mark, I turned to grab my clear EP but changed my mind and found this green glitter EP. You canât see how fabulously fun and sparkly this is in the photo. Iâm really glad that I took out some fun EP instead of the clear that I would normally use. It made my card way more fun. The new mother who will be receiving this card has twins (boy and girl), so I colored one toucan with pink and one with blue and carried the colors into the flowers. I also carried the glitter from the EP onto the flowers with Stickles. Now the green EP is glittery, the gold EP is iridescent, the flowers are glittery and the toucans looked so boring. So I painted some Nuvo Dream Drops onto their beaks and now everything is perfect.

What a lovely personalised card, Jen. Those toucans are adorable with their little quiffs, and beautifully coloured. Gorgeous bright tropical background. All that sparkle is fab - I can see the flowers and I can imagine the leaves.
