I was actually just about to go for a nap, as it's been a very busy week. But when I saw the challenge posted, I thought I could make a quick card using the other background from my Tuesday card. So I pulled that out, die-cut some flowers from a music book and pulled out my spray box to spray the flowers.
And then I thought, hey, the paper in there (which badly needed changing) would make a great owl. So, it's probably mostly Brusho acrylic sprays and maybe some Lindy's, but along with the distress inks behind my coverplate die, that gives me enough to class as mixed media. I used a Posca pen to lighten the centre of the owl's eyes...maybe I should have darkened them, I'll have to think after my nap. Glossy Accents on his beak. The background was from my stash, I had got a smudge on the original (for Polly's WT challenge) and adding a frame overlay solved that problem. I used packing tape on the sentiment for a glassy finish.

OMGosh, what a great card! I love your story in making it. Sometimes the process leads us to new and fun things, which was definitely the case here. I think the eyes are perfect and tie into the yellow color in the background and give the sentiment more impact.

You have created a beautiful bg, Sabrina, but the fabulous owl is definitely the star on this card, wow! One of the best designed owls I’ve seen on a card!
