Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she challenged me! The colors are Misty Moonlight, Whisper White and Old Olive. The dessert option is to choose a fourth color.
I used Distress Oxide inks in the colors listed below, close approximations of the challenge colors. My fourth color is the light blue, Tumbled Glass; I also used substitutes for Merry Merlot and Night of Navy, neutral colors, as accents.
This set of stamps, dies and stencils was part of a virtual stamping weekend in March. I used VersaMark ink and gold embossed the flower outline, then used blending brushes and stencils to color the flowers, and cut the bouquet out using the matching die. I pressed VersaMark through the stencil onto DS paper for the greeting, then white heat embossed and cut out with the coordinating die. Added a few gems for a little glitz.
I'm eager to see what beautiful cards you create with this week's colors! Please join us!
