Well our hostess Nancy said this week's Featured Stamper, Kristine (aka KristineB) has a "super fun" Gallery and, boy, was she right. From the cards, to the images to the sentiments to all the fun folds and shapes. This is a delightful Gallery to walk through and be inspired. I landed on this sweet card as it reminded me of a deer image from ADFD: Dearest Friend by KristineB at Splitcoaststampers
It also reminded me of the scene from Bambi where as a newborn he is playing in the flowers and a butterfly lands on his nose. So, I kept Kristine's deer, flowers, and most of her colors but changed the layout and added butterflies and a sentiment.
This is going to a friend who needs some cheer, so I picked out my "happy" flowers stencil and used some cheerful colors. Stamped the butterflies in darker pink and die cut the panel with the scallop because a scallop always looks happy. Colored, fussy cut the deer and adhered everything to the card front. I thought the deer was going to be too large, but now I wish I had made him a bit bigger.
Congratulations Kristine on being this week's Featured Stamper. Your Gallery is just super and I'm sure it will inspire a lot of great cards this week. And, I hope everyone is having a super day. TFL

Fabulous!!! The stenciled BG is beautiful! Your design and how you "arrived there," are perfect. Your coloring of the deer and the fussy cutting is perfect...

Such a cute image, Debbie, and your background is super fun too. Love the whole feel of this card/case and I know it will bring cheer to your friend. I sent up a prayer for her too. Hugz

This is just so darling! The sweet little deer with flowers around his antlers looks like he was playing in the field of flowers behind him. Wonderful CASE of Kristine's card!
