This was done following along with the April Dirty Dozen Christmas cards prompt seen here. That thread is inside the special forums for Fan Club Members so, your membership needs to be active to view it. I am a huge fan of Carolyn Shores Wright's art and have been collecting some of the licensed bird stamps for years now and this is a new one to my collection. And from what I have seen with some of the other very detailed Stamps Happen stamps is it's difficult to get a good impression on cold press watercolor paper with them. So, I opened this pad of hot press I have been hoarding and the smoothness is brilliant for stamping on YAY There is a preliminary mug shot on the blog here of this under construction, I did use the stamp index sticker as a jump start for how to paint mine. Thanks for this challenge Angie & tfl.

Fantastic colouring of an intricate image! Beautiful birds dressed for warmth. They could be hanging out in my yard this spring. It's still cold! I looked up some of the artist's other images. I can see why you love her! Beautiful Christmas card!

Wow and Wow again - you did an amazing job of watercoloring this intricate image, Stacy! Thumbs up on the sentiment which I heard quite a few times while watching the movie last night.
