I understand the concept of today's challenge on perspective with "fuzzy" painting to indicate distance and sharper lines for the nearer objects. However, it's a look that will have to grow on me - In the meantime, I figured a Unity sentiment has saved many a painting for me and I think this sentiment will work well for my son's upcoming birthday.

This is just awesome...so beautiful. It reminds me of a misty morning scene. Great job with the perspective challenge. Those are super trees to the front and the lighter version toward the back looking really far away. Love your sentiment, also.

Beautifully done with all the elements. My eye went immediately to the front of the scene. The trees and wooded land look like I was walking through a woods. Terrific coloring of the wood's bottom. Keeping the sky and background soft gives it great depth. The soft line of trees adds nice interest. Hope you enjoyed this weeks challenge. I sure enjoyed viewing your painting. That is a wonderful sentiment. TFS
Oh, wow! This is so gorgeous. I love how your background trees turned out. Wonderfully soft focus! Your colors are lovely in your sky and I love how you grounded everything with your slanted bank. Absolutely beautiful!
