I did a little freehand watercolor of a beach and shoreline. Then added some shells, a starfish and a glass float all cut from watercolor rejects. I added several layers of clear nail polish to the orb so that it looks like the shine of glass. I also added some ethereal sun rays to signify HOPE for Brian beating this cancer.

Your beach scene is magnificent, Linda! Beautiful painting and the sun rays shining through are such a wonderful touch. I love your glass orb and using clear nail polish to add shine is brilliant! My Crystal Effects always dries up or the applicator gets stuck closed!
