Of course I thought of DH when I saw the BFF theme. I posted this on FB but it has taken me a while to get time to post it here.
I know thedolors are weird for valentines day, but I am "allergic" to pink. Even though my mom had fabulous taste, she used a designer when my parents built their dream house in 1964. When it came to the room for my sister, age 7, and me, age 5, to share, his creativity ran out the back door. The room was COTTON CANDY PINK on steroids...pink shag carpet, pink gingham bedspreads, pink alabaster bedside lamps, and pink walls. This fun fold was a little harder than I anticipated, buti wanted to try it. Hugs to all. TFL, Francie

I don't know if it's just your amazing colouring or glossy accents on the apples, but they look fab and the little girl is sweet. Buying that says Valentine's cards have to be traditional colours. Your write-up made me smile; I was never into pink but my younger sister was, and at one stage we decided to pool our rooms and sleep in her all-pink one, and have mine (grey and red) as our playroom.

You've got such an adorable image on this and it's colored beautifully! Love the stenciled bg, too. I'm with ya on the pink...I had a pink bedroom (which my mom chose) and it was ok but when I was a teenager I painted it yellow..more cheerful . Thanks for sharing your talents with us Francie...always love seeing what you've created.
