I used the quilted card tutorial here: Quilted Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers and some much loved and hoarded Sizzix papers to give a garden feel. I stamped the sentiment on vellum and used a sheet of double-sided adhesive to attach it. I tried lace to edge the quilt panel but it was a bit fussy, so I opted for gold sticker lines, using more to frame the sentiment. Then I stamped the base with a lace stamp in green.

WOW this is so beautiful and very quilt like with your squares and embossing. The vellum scripture is fabulous...not just the verse but the way you can see through to the paper underneath. You're so creative!

I love all the "scraps" that you pieced together for this quilt. Stamping the sentiment on vellum for the overlay is VERY effective. PLUS I learned something amazing today!! I always struggle to attach vellum without tape or glue lines showing but never thought about using the double adhesive sheets for this purpose - THANK YOU for that gem !!

Your much hoarded paper really makes a gorgeous quilt patch. I love each individual square and pattern but especially the ones with the dragonflies. I know I'm just repeating here, but using the velum for the verse was very creative and the gold edging gives a beautiful finish to the piece. Love the stamped bg too. Any quilter would be delighted to receive this card, so I think Joyce will be even more so. Fabulous card.

What a beautiful quilt and a wonderful verse in the middle, Sabrina. I understand why you hoarded those papers but I'm glad you pulled them out and used them. Beautiful card!
