Today we are to be square. Fun! I love making square cards. I hate paying extra postage, so mine are always 4.25 x 4.25. My DH supports an Indian school & they are always sending blank cards. We donate them to the Sr. Center, but one I kept. It is slimline blue dahlias with gold.
I put my square w/c paper in MISTI & stamped this dahlia image. Keeping it in MISTI, I watercolored with blue crayola paint. I rushed drying time by using my heat tool. Then, I stamped in gold. I masked the flower & added Old Olive leaves. Added a small sentiment in gold & that's all she wrote.
Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful dahlia in blue, msf! The gold was a great choice after you colored the bloom. This size is perfect for your bloom, any larger and it would have looked "lost".

Beautiful dahlia, Karen, and I love the gold embossing. Good masking job, too.

Well, she wrote it beautifully! Haha. This is gorgeous. I always think I will do the 4.25 square and then it ends up being bigger! And hello! I hope things are good with you.
