Congratulations to Rose, our newest Features Stamper. I chose this feathery card to case in her honour today. Feathery Thanks by Rose Reynolds at Splitcoaststampers
I cut the linen square and matted onto Choc Chip and Kraft. Glued to card front. Die cut and prepared the circle. I have a huge tub of feathers and chose had 3 pretty downy ones. I put a large dollop of glue in the corner, poked the feathers in and popped the words on top. My changes: Different colours, omitted EF layer and used real feathers.
~ Enjoy your week Rose ~

Sandie, this is a great case of Rose's card. I love the contrast between your black background and white layer framed in the Kraft and Choc Chip paper. The same colors are reflected in your beautiful feathers and they pop against the white.

Loving this - I saved years of feathers from my budgies and my cockatiel. I also have been known to pick up a Bluejay or Cardinal feather if I notice it!

Oooh, I just want to TOUCH this! I bet it's so soft! Love the tactile feature and I bet it moves, too, in even the softest breeze. Such a great way to add interest to a very sophisticated and elegant card!

I avoid feathers thinking I have no idea how to use them well....
This is a terrific example of how to do just that-this is elegant which I don't know I thought you even could do with feathers. I think of them more as a fun feature.

So pretty, Sandie! I love the neutral color palette & the feathers are wonderful. Since I have parrots, I have real feathers all day, everyday, lol. (They are green, blue, yellow & red around here.)
