This card took me a few days to design and make. I've been so busy this week, I've had very little time in my craft room. I plan to make up all that lost time this weekend. I did have fun combining four challenges in this card. I found scraps of papers in LeAnn's colors to make my herringbone background for Lisa's WT challenge. I find that it's a nice warm, quilty background for our Tea Party for Gracie's mom. We're sending her some warm paper hugs to help her through the cold winter. Polly challenged us to make a card of something that brings us joy. I chose to put my favorite kind of bird on my card, because Berniece loves to watch the birds at the bird feeder. What's more joyful than hummingbirds? This stamp set has three hummingbirds, so they were perfect for Lisa's sketch.

Oh wow - my favourite colour combination of purple and yellow together in one card. Add to that with the cute little humming birds and what more could you want. Just perfect.

Well you would get an A+ in your time management course for figuring out how to combine all those challenges into one great card. I love the herringbone pattern and it does look like a warm quilt. Great background for those adorable hummers -- and they look fabulous is those colors. Awesome job on all accounts.
