I made this card for the ABC challenge, L for lace. It is also for my mom who is the recipient of cards from this week's teapot challenge, "Share Your Joy."
I love red and it was my Dad's favorite color, too. I'm sure this card will bring a smile to my mom's face. Dad always bought her the biggest, prettiest Valentine's Day cards!
I wrapped lace around all 4 sides my red panel, taping it on the back and then securing it with the shiny heart brads. The center square and sentiment was stamped 3 times in red, coloring in the red lined area, then, cutting the layers apart. I used 3D pop dots to adhere the layers to the card.
Great challenges Polly and Ann! Thank so much!

What a lovely way to cheer your mom and also celebrate your dad's love for her. The flat lace is so pretty....I really like how you used across all sides...wonderful! I'm so happy we could add some brightness to her chilly winter days.

Your lace is gorgeous and I love how you used it to frame this card. You truly created a Valentine for your mom worthy of your Dad's "biggest and prettiest". Beautiful card and I'm sure your Mom will agree.

this is truly a Valentine card - unique, the lace just reminds me of cards from my childhood. Those cards were really impressive, and so is this one. Great job !
