CONGRATULATIONS! Kathy on being our FS! I love your gallery & really enjoyed looking through it. But, I stopped on page 3 when I saw this: DTGD20Covingtoncrafter Fun! by Carolinakathy at Splitcoaststampers
I could not help myself. I am a MICKEY lover & I've not used any of my Mickey stamps in a long time. The things I changed are -
- horizontal to verticle
- the cat to Minnie
- no sky
- no yellow layer (I forgot it)
I do have the same Mickey image you used, but there is a story behind using this one. My DD bought me a cross-stitched framed picture of this image. So when I saw Mickey's face, I knew I wanted to use this image. I used to do a lot of counted cross stitch & Susan said she looked all over to make sure it didn't have my initials anywhere! No, I didn't do that one!! She said she knew she had to buy it & now it hangs in my craft room.
I hope you enjoy the cards made in your honor. Enjoy your week as FS. You deserve it.
Thanks for stopping by.

I think I love the "vintage" Mickey and Minnie the best. Wonderful image and I love the CAS design. The font on the lettering is spot-on. Wonderful card and I thoroughly enjoyed your story. I imagine that cross-stitch brings a smile to face every time you see it.
