My card for this week's Tea Party guest is in the mail; but I love Jacqueline's beautiful poem and the challenge and I know lots of people who need a hug right now so I made another card.
I think this chunky scallop frame always adds a touch of lightheartedness to a card and I wanted to go for a bit of happy. I think the colors help there too. The card was simple: stenciled flowers; die cut; popped the center panel on two layers of card stock; added the small die cuts and pearls. And it's ready to send happy hugs to someone who might need a big hug.
Hope you have a chance to hug someone near and dear to you today. One should never pass up the opportunity to either give or receive a hug. TFL

What a beauty. Love how you cut and popped the centre panel. And those warm, pastel colours just shout "Spring"! Certain to make someone smile.

This card is so pretty with your soft colour choices, Debbie, I love the scalloped framing and lovely flowers! With Omicron taking hold here in my city, no one is hugging and it is so strange not to, especially when seeing family~
