Congratulations to Kelly aka kellysrose, our Featured Stamper this week - FS778! During her slide show, I quickly pinned 20 cards from her marvelous gallery and some just because I wanted to look at them again. Kelly, you made me really miss certain old SU stamps and colors & reminded me about some that I kept.
I turned my card horizontal and chose a similar color pallet, yet my colors all are pastels. I used different stamps from both the Defining sets then added texture to my background. I used different shapes for my sentiments and omitted several layers. I am pleased with the result, and am certain this is NOT a card I would have created without this weekly Challenge - so thanks Kelly and the SCS Team!

I have to admit I was totally fascinated with Kelly's pretty background stamping as well. Love how you used one of them as your inspiration. This turned out great with the added texture of embossing,

Wonderful case. Love the colors and stamped background. The embossing adds a nice element. The sentiment is terrific for the start of a new year. Hold on to the good memories. Great card.

This is such a cool card using all these different stamp sets, Gayle. Love your layout and the flair of that gorgeous ribbon. The button and twine is a cute touch!
