Barbara has a lovely, rather monochromatic, color combination for us as we start wrapping up 2021. I tried a few ideas and when I combined Bermuda Bay and Evening Evergreen on a baby wipe I got a color that really stood in for Pretty Peacock very well. (Mine is up at the lake.) But the design for that card wasn't working. Then I decided to try this sketch that I haven't used for awhile. I tried blending Bermuda Bay onto the lower portion of the card and then putting a light layer of Early Evergreen over it, with Pool Party at the top. Not quite as spot on as the baby wipe technique as a stand in but I stayed with it since I loved how these snowflakes were working. The blending was done on white to keep the "blues" from becoming too green. I tried stamping my greeting on ribbon but it didn't work. I guess I've been hitting the Christmas candy a bit too hard anyway...
Thanks for much for taking a peek. I hope you can play with us!

What a resourceful artist you are, Chris! And I love, love, love the color effect you achieved. The layout is beautiful, with a little round window to better appreciate the color blending! Love the snowflakes and the pearls as embellishments! Lovely!

Chris you've done amazing job of creating Pretty Peacock using the baby wipe technique. The Ombre effect provides a very attractive card design! You've got a 'very' creative mind my friend, thanks for the inspiring share!

Creative ideas! Love how you focused on the vanilla with the embossed panel, circle opening and snowflakes. The blending color background is beautiful. Wonderful inspiration for the challenge colors!
