Oh, gosh! I made this card early because I knew I'd be busy with a meeting last night and then I forgot to post it. Arghh!!
Anyway, LeAnn has the sweetest color combination this week. I was a little stumped about what theme to use until I remembered that I had ordered this preview stamp because it just about screams my book club. (And I was in the mood for a little coloring during a Zoom meeting I was listening in on...) The Old Olive is more of a minor color, coming in for the leaves and a little bit of one binding. I also brought in some Crumb Cake as a neutral. It doesn't show real well but I put some Crystal Effects on the lenses of the glasses. Eh?
It should be fun to peruse the challenge gallery this week. Once I thought about it, there are so many directions to go with these colors. I hope you can join us!

Wonderful image and texture. The twine was a nice addition, Chris.

Chris, it's quite alright to get caught up in life busy schedule! It's awesome to be ahead of the game and have your design ready to post, I've been there just not often enough! Lol! Anyway, I love this image/design and agree it's perfect for your book club! You've done a wonderful job of coloring! TFS

I'll take your word for it that there are many directions to go....haven't discovered one yet but haven't really pursued it yet either. I love this image, I'm always attracted to books! Wonderful use of the colors!

Such a great looking card with that wonderful stamped image. I love the pretty blue border and embossed edge, and the linen thread finishes this off perfectly. Into my faves : )

Beautifully done with this new stamp and the challenge colors. I was thinking of this stamp for my book club partners. Love your card design with the edges & the twine. Love it all!
