A side-fold card from a set and I added a layer of corrugated paper from a pad of assorted colors. I cut a branch freehand in 2 layers for a bit of body. Next, cut a silver die-cut from a kit and placed it at the bottom adding my stamped headline in the oval. I used 2 pieces of silver at the top. Finished with a 3D cardinal.

Brilliant, Betty....to make the male cardinal with red felt! It is beautiful and against the shade of green you selected, stands out wonderfully. A gorgeous Christmas card.

Great card. I love the look of corrugated paper and it works great with that wonderful cardinal. Kudos on free hand cutting that branch and two layers at that! The silver die cut is a lovely design element and gives the card both a touch of glitz and a holiday flair. It reminds me of a stylized Christas tree. Wonderful card

Gorgeous felt bird and I really like the corrugated paper. You did a fab job cutting the branch and I think your cardinal feels right at home there. Hope you are feeling well and having a wonderful day.
