It is my pleasure to be your hostess this week in the Color Challenge. I'm in the holiday spirit, so the dessert option this week is Christmas! And since I'm a traditional kinda girl, the colors are Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Gold.
The title of my card has a double meaning. The name of the deer die I used is "Inspired." But I was also inspired by the wonderful Disappearing Nine Patch Card Falliday Fest tutorial shared by Betty Traciak (kittystamp). I couldn't wait to give it a try, and it was fun!
And since I'm a firm believer in CASE-ing, my card is very similar to Betty's. I used different papers, different background and a different deer, but the source of the inspiration is clear! Thank you, Betty, for a wonderful design.
I hope this week's dessert option will help you keep going (or start!) on your cards for this season. I'm looking forward to seeing some beautiful Christmas cards in the gallery this week! And one more card into the stash for me!

Barbara, thank you for the beautiful color combo this week! I had to check out the tutorial on your eye catcher of a card! It looks much harder than it looks. Thank you for the inspiration, I want to give this a try!

Barbara, this is a stunning holiday card. I love beautiful papers you used for the patchwork element. The embossed background is perfect and adds a beautiful touch of dimension behind the deer and patchwork panel.
