I used cut strips but made mine even, I changed the image from a light house to a pressed stem. I used a piece of DP for the background instead of white and made mine for Thanksgiving.
I pressed an Astilbe plant leaf from my garden between two pieces of water color paper, running it through my Vagabond machine. I die cut the panel with ship lap dies from the Greetery and layered them over the DP up on foam dots. To finish, I splattered gold using a paint marker.
Enjoy your week in the FS gallery Sherri!

Julia, this is a wonderful case of Sherri's card. I love the strips with the pressed leaf image. It is so soft and looks especially beautiful with the green designer paper background.
Wow, what a creative card, Julia! First, I love the print you made from your garden leaf and then to cut it up with the ship lap dies was genius! I really like the ink drop DSP you chose to place everything on, too! Fabulous!

Oh, this really speaks to my love of trees and leaves and the color green! The gold splatters are such a perfect touch with the gorgeous prints you made. Love the ship lap dies!
