FS767 Spooky Remember Wreath
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: nwilliams6

Julie selected Ashley as this week's Featured Stamper (amacy0411). Such a fun gallery to case!

Since I love wreaths, I picked this sweet "Moments with You" wreath card Ashley made in April 2020 as my inspiration:

Moments With You by amacy0411 at Splitcoaststampers

So if you look at Ashley's card and my journal page, I know your eyebrows raised! How did I get from Ashley's sweet card you would give to a friend to this spooky wreath?

Story:
*I knew I was going to do a wreath
*I wanted to do Fall or Halloween theme
*I remembered I had gathered up the left over old flowers from my parent's grave when we cleaned it up last time.
*The flowers and leaves were dirty and tattered so I brushed them off and spookified them more with some black distress ink, black paint splatters, and gold paint splatters.
*Had to do an art journal page instead of a card so I could fit all the flowers.

Can you find all the spiders? There are supposed to be 5 but I can only find 4.

This journal is chunky and I plan to just close it up and have the flowers be a fun part of it.

I knew immediately which card you had chosen, because I loved it! My jaw did drop Nancy, in awe of your magnificent journal page - and you will have the flowers forever now. Yep, I spotted the spiders x

Nancy, this is a fun case of Ashley's card. I love your spooky floral wreath and the flowers you modified a little with extra ink, etc. I looked for a minute to see how many spiders I could find.

Absolutely beautiful, Nancy. Love the splatters. Good job recycling, too.

Your inspiration card is one that I pinned. Your 3D wreath blew me away. The colors, feathers, speckles and dark mood is just my style - if ever I took the time to make something this elaborate. I absolutely want it, LOL.

I found 4 spiders for sure and maybe a fifth one but not sure it's a spider..., what a beautiful wreath and I'm sure this was an emotional job too with these flowers from your parent's grave, great recycling

Wow! This is awesome! I found 4 spiders for sure. Now, will you flatten the flowers or something or just let them dry? Interesting for sure!
