When I first saw the challenge this morning, I knew a Herculean task lay before me. First because I wasn't sure I even HAD an encouraging sentiment to feature and second because I so rarely use DP that finding 2 to coordinate could take a while. In the end I actually found 3 that I thought would go together. ( and in autumn colors - no less) Next I went looking for my Encouraging words and came across this large Unity stamp that I got in a grab bag. Dusted the burnt Orange DP with Amari Magic, Stamped my sentiment and embossed with Recollections Snow White EP. I Thought my outside was busy enough so stamped the mermaid and another saying inside. Colored with prismacolor pencils blended with gamsol and added stickles to the scales for some shimmer and shine ( I don't think that shows in the photo) So in the end I found everything I needed to complete the challenge and even got cookies for autumn colors!

This is perfect. Love those papers together and you have a great sentiment. I see a bit of shimmer on the mermaid's scales. Nice inside to this card, too.

Linda this is awesome and beautiful!!! I am so glad you shown us the inside, it is the cherry on the top of a sundae!

Ah - that's one of the Unity sentiments I thought of using, though I wasn't going to use the mermaid, which I love. Your layout is a great one for incorporating the stipulated two papers (though Jen did also allow us two complementary stamped backgrounds, too ).
For a Herculean task, you succeeded spectacularly, Linda! Love the quote - it is such an encouraging one - and having it in white makes it stand out even more!
