When I first saw the challenge this morning, I knew a Herculean task lay before me. First because I wasn't sure I even HAD an encouraging sentiment to feature and second because I so rarely use DP that finding 2 to coordinate could take a while. In the end I actually found 3 that I thought would go together. ( and in autumn colors - no less) Next I went looking for my Encouraging words and came across this large Unity stamp that I got in a grab bag. Dusted the burnt Orange DP with Amari Magic, Stamped my sentiment and embossed with Recollections Snow White EP. I Thought my outside was busy enough so stamped the mermaid and another saying inside. Colored with prismacolor pencils blended with gamsol and added stickles to the scales for some shimmer and shine ( I don't think that shows in the photo) So in the end I found everything I needed to complete the challenge and even got cookies for autumn colors!

From the looks of it, I would have never thought you didn't have an abundance of what you needed for this challenge. This came out fantastic inside and out!

Love this fabulous embossed sentiment, Linda and the wonderful design of your card! Terrific dps and what an added bonus for a lucky teapotter - a beautiful mermaid on the inside!

Wow, not sure if I love the inside or outside more. I love the bold sentiment on the outside, along with the strong diagonal elements. (I hardly ever use diagonals, but I think I need to start using them...) And the coloring on the mermaid is beautiful.
