Karen has selected a fun pallet of colors to work with this week. Once again, I am excited to have an opportunity to be a part of the color challenges this month. I used the closest colors I had to the SU colors for this week and also used Merry Merlot, a SU neutral, to anchor the lighter colors. I used the Celebration with Flowers stamp set to create a whimsical BG on my main panel, die cut main panel and mat with dotted dies and added some ribbon. Used shimmer paint on the mat for the sentiment and added a few sequins. I used the leave stamp on the inside of the card and added the dragonflies from the Dragonfly Dreams and dies. I spread them across the fold as I thought that looked interesting!
Hope you enjoy this week's color challenge and play along.

I love the fun DS paper you've created for this pretty card. And you've answered a question I've been thinking about--exactly what to add to a panel that is patterned all over--the ribbon and greeting panel are just perfect, along with the pretty sequins. So pretty!

What fun you must have had creating this lovely patterned paper - your Merry Merlot plays so well with your other colors! Love your sentiment treatment, too!
