Jayne is our hostess for the WTUI challenge this week, as we have 5 Thursdays in the month. And what a fun theme for a nearly-end-of-summer challenge - for us in the northern hemisphere. I already see the evenings getting shorter. I made this as a summer seaside postcard. I masked off a border with narrow masking tape, then stamped MFT Seaside Seagulls stamped with masking. While masked, I stencilled in the sun with TH Sunrays. Colouring is with Couleur d'Art pencils. I coated the whole thing with Mod Podge, so it would stand up to mailing as a real postcard, although in fact I sent it in an envelope because of the faux stamp on the back. For the back, I used a rope border from Art Journey to divide the card in two, and also stamped one of the beach huts from the same set in soft grey. The stamp outline and franking is from Leane Creatief, I masked it and stamped the starfish (Art Journey) with a deep red ink.

Love your faux postcard Sabrina. Those gulls are cute and remind me of the seagulls in the UK who stay close and especially when we eat food on the prom LOL. Thank you for playing in my challenge. Happy day

Your postcard is adorable, Sabrina. Love the punny sentiment to go with the trio of gulls. Bright and cheery colors to further express an uplifting feeling.
