 | | I needed a card for a guy friend and was inspired by colors on a piece of patterned chipboard I had left over from a facial tissue box. I stamped 2nd generation images from the three stamp sets listed above in Night of Navy and elegant eggplant ink on the chipboard, then embossed the chipboard with the riveted EF. I used the foam blending tool to highlight the raised areas of the embossed image and on the edges.
I overlapped two different skylines die cut from black and brushed silver card stock. for the backgrund behind the chipboard, I embossed a piece of bashful blue card stock with the diampnd plate EF and highlighted the embossed parts with encore silver ink using the blending tool. I added the elegant eggplant corner die cut from the gearheads thinlits set.
I stamped the sentiment in elegant eggplant ink on bashful blue CS that was already stamped with a 3rd generation chevron image. I backed it with black CS and pupped up using dimensional foam. I stacked gears dies cut from different CS and used a mini silver brad to attach them to the chipboard, so the gears could still move.
Both my hubs and my friend really liked the card
