Inspired by Cathy Harper in Scrapbook & cards. I made my own pattern. First cut a piece of gingham paper on a corner measuring down 4 inches on each side. Then I used a small plate lining up the two four inch marks. I used the white cardstock to first make a pattern. I folded the white paper and copied the pattern with the fold on one side. Glue the pattern paper to the top. Using the pattern paper glue to the folded white piece. I found two piece of green to make the rind. Using the pattern trace off two pieces on the curved edge. Glue to the front. I took off a little sliver of the green that the card stands up without rocking. Add Nuvo drops in a seed shape and let dry. I added a piece of ephemera from Simple Stories on the side. Add a button and a cord bow. I added a hand written note inside to have a cool juicy summer day.ððð
