My metallic pens did not show up very well, so I ended up using a silver pencil. I just painted some shades of this color blue in lights and darks, and then I tried to image images in the shadows and highlighted areas. This is way I came up with reminding me of a potted flower plant. Not sure I followed any of the protocol for this challenge, but I did have lots of fun.

Holy cow, Liz, this is amazing! I love the subtlety of the silver on the blue. At first glance it is a beautiful watercolor wash, but upon further inspection it's a whole bouquet of flowers. LOVE!

Loving this Liz - the colours with the silver are perfect together and that you found a potted plant, totally fun! (ps - I agree with you re: IO, love their stuff).

Really neat that you could turn this wash into a whole bouquet of flowers just by out lining the light & dark spaces in your wash. You have a wonderfully artistic eye.
