Itâs the most wonderful time of the year⦠Christmas in July!!! Iâm so excited to be joining in on the holiday card making fun. Letâs thank our host, Barbara for choosing Coastal Cabana, Polished Pink, and Silver as this weekâs colors. These colors are so festive. The dessert option is Christmas in July.
My card features the iconic cozy winter sweater. I die cut the sweater and pieced it together using Coastal Cabana and a lovely pink cardstock. The snowflakes were die cut from silver holographic paper.
The textured wood grain background reminds me of something you might find at a ski lodge. To create the background, I used a woodgrain Tim Holtz stamp, Versamark and clear embossing powder. Heat embossing really brought out the woodgrain pattern.
Enjoy!

Oh, yes! Let's chill - it's 99 plus humidity in Minnesota today! Your card is an adorable reminder that our summer won't last long and we will be thinking of warming up in no time. I love your addition of the sparkly snowflakes.
