I sponged my background like she did but I did it on crumbcake intead of white. I also added in another layer and used different stamps, but I kept the Sympathy theme. This is going to a friend at work who lost her Mother this week. I used some faded flowers from my parents' graveside on this as well. She likes haunted places like I do so that should not freak her out.
Rae, thanks for the inspiration and congrats on being the Feature Stamper!

Such a beautiful sympathy card Nancy. I love the distressed and torn edges in the top layer and the addition of a flower off your parents grave is so special. TFS. Happy weekend and hugs

Nancy, this is a wonderful case of Rae's card. I'm so sorry you needed to make a sympathy card. It is gorgeous and I love the haunted feel of the colors and patterns.

This is an outstanding work of your heart, Nancy! So much depth in the panels...I felt such comfort just deep diving into that color blend. The branches in two scales and that bird in flight just add to this deeply meaningful card. I especially love the sentiment. There are no adequate words to say...love this, fav'd this..

This will so touch your friend's grieving heart. Your beautiful and uniquely embellished creation is like an organic, tattered book, so symbolic of life and death as each moves to the next chapter. Fav'd.
