Karen is hosting this week and I absolutely LOVE the colors she chose for this weekâs Color Challenge. The colors are Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, and Coastal Cabana. The dessert option is to add designer paper.
For my card, the intention was to use the sketch from last weekâs sketch challenge, SC858. Unfortunately, I forgot to âmeasure twice and cut once.â As a result, I didnât cut my designer paper the way I was supposed to. My husband always teases me because I âmeasure once and cut twice.â The designer paper is from an older paper pad and it happened to be the last piece. I had to find a different layout if I wanted to salvage that paper. I was really happy to find SC730 from January 2019. It worked perfectly!
Thank you for stopping by. Hope youâll join in on this weekâs Color Challenge!

There is such movement in these flowers; I can almost feel the breeze! I love the way you've arranged them, including that one free-floating guy up at the top. And great job on salvaging the DS paper!

Marianne, You did a marvelous job of saving that cool looking dsp and using it to your advantage! My motto is, "if there is a will, there is a way"! This is a happy and pretty card! Love it!
