This card was made for a sketch challenge that had an optional theme of "ribbons and/or lace". I thought the "lace" stickers I've had in my stash for years would work perfectly for the theme.
We have friends who are getting married this coming Saturday, so I chose to make the card for their wedding. It was simple to make since I had label dies and the paper piercing template that goes with them.
I mounted the lace sticker onto a strip of gold foil paper, and trimmed closely to the edges so the gold wouldn't overwhelm the lace.
The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto white cardstock, then die cut. A size larger die was used to cut the gold mat. I then used the Stampin' Up! (SU) paper piercing template to pierce holes around the inside perimeter of the gold mat.
The sentiment and mat pieces were attached together with foam tape, then mounted on the card front with foam tape.
The small gold bow was tied using a bow maker (I am all thumbs when it comes to making bows!$#@!) and attached with a Mini Glue Dot. The card front was matted with gold cardstock and glued to a white 5"x7" card base.
I am rating the difficulty of this card as a "2" out of a possible "5". It's super easy to create and appropriate for beginner paper crafters.
