As soon as I saw her Teapot TEAser on Saturday, I thought of THIS CARD I made 550 teaparties ago. But, I really wanted to use this stamp. I love all the dogs in it and they seem suitable for Lee Ann. We used to have an afghan when I was growing up, but she was black not blonde. And almost impossible to groom, because she'd been mistreated as a puppy, we used to have to get her knocked out by the vet. It was wonderful seeing her galloping along the beach on walks.
Image stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with Inktense pencils, stormy sky sponged in while still in the die. I pulled out a gel print with dark green and copper, so I matted the image panel on copper. Added some die-cut ivy trails to frame it a bit, and some old Prima flowers with a pearl centre. Picking up on the purple flower, my woof woof sentiment is a purple Dymo label.

Aw what a cute bunch.
I loved afghans when I was young...the way their hair flow as they trot along...I can just imagine how pretty when running the beach.
Purple dynamo tape! I have not seen color in that since I was a teen and used blue ones being in a huge "blue" phase. I didn't know they came in that color.
What a rich pairing of colors in the BG!

Terrific creation for Lee Ann and it perfectly depicts her “pack” even though there’s a few extra. She is known for letting the neighbor dogs hang out at her pad. Thanks for sending her some cheer. I love it.

Loved reading about the afghan you had when you were growing up ... they are so incredible looking! Super cute card for Lee Ann!

As always, I love how you did the coloring of these doggies, Sabrina -the bg is just as awesome! I 'woof' it (pardon the pun, LOL)!
Peeked at Henrietta (that card is more than 10 years old!), and oh my gosh, the stitches and the amount of sewing you did on that card are simply amazing!

That is a fun looking pack of dogs and I love the watercoloring. Your gelli print is gorgeous and so is the copper matting. Perfect card for Lee Ann, I'd say.
Enjoyed reading about your Afghan. Like others here, I always loved watching them but at a brisk walk instead of running. I think they are the most elegant dog in a dog show with that fabulous hair flowing around them and they prance around the arena. Sounds like you had some fun times with yours. Hugs.
