I made this thank you card for a family friend who offered us the use of his beach house. This is the view of the sunrise from his deck. I wanted to mimic his view including the four deck chairs. I die cut an Adirondack chair and added height to them as his chairs are tall. I used dsp wood grain card stock to make the deck railing. The deck railing was die cut using a fence die cut, i added thicker pieces to the top and botton to resemble a deck railing. The railing is 3 layers of white cardstock (should have used a brown instead). Added the 4th set in dsp wood grain. It need to be heavy so that when you fold the card, it doesn't buckle. I used a marker to add the flying birds. I added peach cardstock on the back to give it weight.

What a stunning view and what a stunning Thank You card. I think it's genius to use the actual view as the backdrop of this card and I love that you altered the chairs to match his. What a thoughtful guest you must have been. This card alone should encourage him to invite you again. Great job.
What a super thank you card! I'm sure your friends will be keeping this card in their treasure box after it's been displayed for a good long while! It's gorgeous!
