I embossed the Tim Holtz blackout paper then I sanded off the black and there is kraft underneath. My inspiration piece is on my computer screen. I didn't have the stamp stamps or stencils, so I used a different technique, changed the colors, and made mine an encouragement card.

Liz, this is a great case of Aimslee's card. I adore the embossed anchor background and how you sanded off the top layer of black. It is such a striking background for your beautiful lighthouse image.

How cool that paper is, so that you could sand off the black! Love how you cased this nautical card, mf.

Fabulous card Liz and that Lighthouse image is gorgeous. Love your pairing with the anchor bg -- the sanding looks great. Anchors and Lighthouses both so evocative of strength and endurance. Beautiful images for an encouragement card. And a beautiful encouragement card you have created.
