Since I've been planting geraniums and other flowers today I decided to go with this Power Poppy image. After I watercolored using Dina's technique, I added some highlights with Prismacolors. I also painted some dots and bits on the leaves using white paint. A little Wink of Stella and that's about it. Fun!

I never tire of geraniums, very perfect with all your cool vintage backdrop. Looks like a beautiful buckle, I think. Awesome. I don't think a summer has ever gone by without buying a geranium.

Stunning card with this technique. Love the added tag with the tiny flowers. Great job. So nice to be able to finally get outside and plant. Glad you came and played.

Well done Polly - beautiful colors and so glad some one else watched the tutorial to the end and added the pencil highlights. I think they make a HUGE difference in the looks of the image and in my opinion it helps the misty portion look even more ethereal. I think geraniums in all their shades and colors are beautiful - unfortunately I am allergic to them (even after 3 years of immunology shots) so none for me . . . . .

Beautiful geraniums, Polly, and a great job misting. Love your sentiment tag, also. I've set out geraniums this year, also. They are such pretty flowers.

Oh, how what a beautiful card! I love your misted watercolor technique! The band at the top with the sentiment banner is so eye-catching and the flowers are lovely!
