This is the card I plan to send to Linda. It is inspired by a SOP of all mothers, I think (mine for sure), the Butterfly Kiss. I Googled Pink Butterflies and learned that although there aren't really any, when butterflies have particularly translucent wings, they appear pink. I stamped the butterfly on pink vellum, highlighted with pink marker in spots, added some Wink of Stella and fussy cut. I used the brick EF for the BG and added some light brown watercolor on the mortar.

This is just beautiful. I love the soft vellum wings and how you perched it so gently on the little mouse cheek. What a tender expression of love that I am sure Linda will treasure. Thanks for sending this sweet card to Linda.

I think if that gorgeous butterfly kissed me I would have as sweet a smile on my face as your adorable mouse. This is so beautifully composed. Love that you made the brick pink and that arch is super. Using the velum for the butterfly was perfect -- it looks as delicate as you would see in real life. Wonderful card and Linda will love it too.

So very sweet. Great work on the brick wall, very realistic looking.
Eskimo kisses are what I remember my mother doing. But I love Bob Carlisle's Butterfly Kisses song.
