Pink-âoe... Glittery-âoe... Flowers-âoe... Tea-âoe.... Well, I got almost everything on the favorites list of this week's Tea Party Guest, one of SCS's own, Linda (Hotwheels). We are sending her paper hugs this week on the second anniversary of her Mother's passing.
Stamped, colored and die cut the flowers. I used the lightest pink color, RV0000, to add some shading to the blooms because I wanted them to present more as white. But the bright pink glitter paper is really picking up the pink so they look more light pink IRL. Added stickles to the flower centers. The vintage teapot was a free digital stamp from many many moons ago which I printed and colored only the flowers and the pot lid. I added a strip of the glitter paper behind the teapot and the word HUGS is stamped on the end. It's really hard to see in the picture but it does show up IRL. Left a sliver of white from the card base for accent.
I hope Linda is uplifted by the many cards and messages coming her way this week. The loss of her mother has had a profound affect on her life, but she is persevering and, I hope, thriving. And, I hope you are lifted up by the many supportive and inspiring cards you see here on SCS. TFL.

Debbie, I love the softness you have placed in this card, both the colors and your kindness. You have been a loving supporter of the "Dynamic Duo" and that is much appreciated. Thanks for sending this tender card to Linda.

A wonderful card for Linda. Love the color for the background...makes it all pop. What a beautiful teapot, too. I am sure it will be happily received.

I can see the stamping on the glitter paper! I know it's hard to capture in a photo, but it's a great look and that pink glitter background is fantastic. I love the sparkle in the centre of your flowers.

Fabulous look, Debbie. Love the big blooms and that wonderful glittery background you used. The floral teapot is super cute and Linda will just love receiving this!
