This is my sample for CC842. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose crushed curry, seaside spray and garden green for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is to add another color of your choice. I used berry burst.
I needed one more Mother's Day card and this one is for my Mother-in-Law. I need to get this in the mail tomorrow. (lol) I used the new Spring Flowers in Pot die from CottageCutz.
Cut the flowers in the challenge colors plus my optional of berry burst. To get a lighter color on the berry burst flowers, I used designer paper from the Stampin'-Up "color theory" collection.
For the flower pot, I used seaside spray cardstock and then sponged with the same shade of ink to get a deeper hue.
The card layout is this week's MOJO Sketch #559. I used the floral image where she has the center square.
That's my card for this week. Looking forward to see what you all will create with this beautiful color combo.

Mary, your creations with the Cottage Cutz dies are always great! I adore this bouquet of flowers, and I know your MIL will, too! Once again, I am in awe of your ability to interpret a sketch and turn it into such a pretty card!

Gorgeous Mary! That bouquet is so intricate and lovely. The sketch you used really shows off the bouquet and the stripes are the perfect complement to the flowers!

Mary, your card is just so lovely. The floral bouquet is very nicely arranged and look great in the sponged flower pot. Your mother-in-law will be thrilled when she gets this.

Mary your MIL is a lucky girl to be the recipient of your beautiful card. It's nice you have a mom to send a Mother's Day card too! Your design shows off Jeanne's color selection perfectly! TFS
