This card was created for a friend who recently lost his partner of 27 years. I needed to make a masculine sympathy card, so searched the gallery and Pinterest. Between the two places, I found an idea, then searched the many stamp sets in my craft room and found one that was my mother's that would work.
I started with the masked circle where I cut a circle from masking paper then used a sponge then a brush to cover the circle. I then stamped the silhouette image with Slate ink. I found the sympathy greeting in a Stamps of Life stamp. I embossed the Moonlit Fog layer using the Subtle embossing folder. If this were going to a woman, i would add gems, but for a man, I am going to leave it flat.
