This is so pretty. I love how you used the doily, and it's perfect for Austen. I'm just guessing from the thumbnails that you were super-inspired by this challenge.

What a pretty teacup. The saucer for it is amazing. Perfectly set for an old-fashioned afternoon tea with your doily. One family that I cooked for in the UK, they used to have their afternoon tea in our sitting-room with the housekeeper and myself. But - I can't remember what the china was like at all! I guess because it was the housekeeper who did all the dishwashing there, apart from the cooking dishes which were mine.

I almost chose Jane A...this is perfect with the doily panel and the teacup...they certainly did consume a lot of tea in their day...I think it might have been a vehicle for courting...lol.
