Another fun Watercolor Wednesday! Loose and sketchy. My kind of painting. I had fun, but I'm not crazy about my splattering technique. I'm getting better, but I still feel like I need improvement. I always make two cards, so this was fun to make one of each. I prefer the dragonfly, but I like both. Kept it simple by just mounting on colored card bases and adding a sentiment and a few sequins.

These are so pretty, Jen. I'd say you aced this one. Love the backgrounds and the sequins. Can't say that I prefer one over the other...they are both lovely, though I am partial to purple/ lavender. Beautiful cards!

Wonderful loose painting on both these beauties. Like how you shaded with the neutral colors. Your spattering looks great. Glad you had fun with this technique, and thanks for playing and giving us these super cards.

Look at you making all these beautiful cards. I love both of them and I also think your splatters are awesome. Love the sentiment, too.

Beautifully done on both your abstract insects - or as you call them sketchy bugs. You are not alone in struggling with spattering - it 's why I (your WC twin sister) rarely does it on my cards. The addition of the clear iridescent sequins is a nice touch and adds that bit of special shimmer & shine without detracting from your pretty images.

These are both so beautiful. Their wings look almost translucent which I love. And the sentiment is the perfect finishing touch. I think your splatters look great, too.
