This is my card for this week's teapot Tuesday challenge. When I think of wonder woman (women), I think of all the strong women I know. My mother who was resourceful in the face of crushing financial loss, my mother-in-law who at age 24 married a widower with 8 children and lovingly cared for us all until her early passing. I think of my daughter who bravely faces each day despite debilitating anxiety and depression. I think of my two daughters-in-law, one balancing home and parenting and the return to school, the other halting her studies to be the best stay home mom to her special needs son. All women of incredible strength. Wonder woman describes them all. Wishing all of you wonder(ful) women strength to meet the challenges thrown your way today.
Background computer generated. Scene stamped and coloured on vellum and adhered with mini star brads. Enjoy!

You do have many strong women in your family and how wonderful for them to have you to continue to support them, appreciate them and recognize them. The bg you created is so personal and I love that you are passing that onto another strong women. Love the design with the beautiful image on velum. It is etherial. Beautiful card with a fabulous message. Thank you for sharing your card and your story.
First, I love the concept of your card, Vicky, where the roles of strong women make up the background (I'm copying this idea for Mother's Day - it is awesome! Loved reading about the strong women in your life.). Debbie said it better than me when she said that you created something personal and you're passing it on to another strong woman. Second, using vellum to stamp the image on is clever; third, love the image you colored beautifully!

What a rich card with your beautiful descriptors underneath a soft and delicately stamped vellum. And what a story! Sounds like many in your family could share in this card...you might want to make a few more....
